Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Rava mobile application and ravafinance.com (together, the "Service"), operated by Rava Finance ("Rava," "we," "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Rava is an AI-powered financial intelligence platform that helps you understand, protect, and grow your finances by organizing activity from Mobile Money, bank accounts, cooperatives, and informal savings groups into a single financial picture, generating personalised financial plans, and flagging SMS messages that may be fraudulent.

Rava is currently in Live Beta. Features, availability, and accuracy may change without notice, and you may encounter bugs or interruptions as we continue development. The Android app is available on the Google Play Store; the iOS app is in active development.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use Rava. Accounts are authenticated via Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, and agree to provide accurate registration information.

Core features of Rava depend on reading Mobile Money and bank transaction SMS notifications on your device in order to build your financial picture and detect potentially fraudulent messages. By granting Rava the relevant device permissions, you consent to this processing as described in our Privacy Policy. You can withdraw this permission at any time through your device settings, though doing so will limit or disable core functionality.

Core financial tracking and planning features are free to use. Premium subscriptions unlock advanced AI-powered analysis, personalised financial roadmaps, detailed reports, and behavioural scoring. Pricing and billing terms for premium plans are disclosed at the time of purchase and are billed on a recurring basis unless cancelled.

With your explicit, opt-in consent, Rava may share AI-generated financial insights and behavioural profiles with partner banks, microfinance institutions, cooperatives, and insurers so they can assess and offer you responsible financial products. Rava is not itself a bank, lender, or insurer, and does not guarantee that any partner will approve or extend a product to you. You may withdraw this consent at any time in your account settings.

You may not use Rava to violate any law, infringe on others' rights, submit false or misleading transactional data, attempt to circumvent or reverse-engineer our fraud-detection or behavioural-scoring systems, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data.

Rava provides financial insights, plans, and alerts for informational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, tax, legal, or investment advice, and behavioural or credit-related scores are not a guarantee of loan approval or any financial outcome.

Our fraud-detection feature is designed to help identify SMS messages that resemble known fraud patterns, but it cannot detect every fraudulent message and is not a substitute for your own caution with financial transactions. As a Live Beta service, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rava is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including financial loss resulting from a fraudulent transaction, missed alert, or inaccurate insight — arising from your use of the Service.

You may stop using Rava and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or other users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time as Rava moves out of Beta and adds new features. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
